VERY RARE - 2004 Mickey's Christmas Express Lionel Train Set - UNOPENED This VERY RARE Disney Mickey’s Christmas Express Train Set is from 2004 and has remained unopened all these years! The box for this is big and heavy and covered with exciting facts about the set. If you’re looking for that one mega-gift to make someone’s Christmas extra special and memorable， this is it. It will likely be the biggest， heaviest， and coolest thing under your tree this year. The set has a huge 40” x 60” oval track， a powerful 80 Watt transformer with programmable accessory voltage， and the locomotive lights up， has a realistic air whistle， and actually puffs white smoke as it rumbles down the track! The train cars themselves are beautifully detailed with metal handrails， boxcar doors that open and close， and operational couplers between each car! The cars are made of rugged die-cast metal and look realistic. I’ve only opened the outer box to inspect the inner box and photograph it. I am not opening the inner box (which is sealed in plastic) because I’m selling this in brand new and unopened condition. That being said， I’m selling it “as-is” because to do otherwise would open me up to the possibility of someone buying it for their kid， their kid (or dog or neighbor) breaking it， the buyer claiming it arrived broken (when it didn’t)， and then I’m on the hook to refund their money. It should be pretty obvious that such a situation would be unfair to me， the seller. I have no reason to believe that there are any problems with this set. What I am willing to do is this: if you purchase this set， I will unwrap the plastic， open the inner box， and send you pictures of the set， with the agreement that if there’s anything obviously wrong， I’ll cancel the auction and refund your money， but this must be done BEFORE I ship it to you. If you want it to remain sealed in plastic， then you’re agreeing that if there’s something wrong once you open it， it’s your problem and not mine. For that reason， I’d strongly recommend that you have me carefully open it， photograph it， send you the photos for your approval of the sale， and then carefully reseal it before I ship it to you. I think that’s the most fair way of handling the unlikely scenario where the set is damaged. If you have a better suggestion， I’ll be happy to consider it. Oh， and I will be purchasing shipping insurance for it out of my own pocket. This piece has never been displayed or used and comes from my clean， smoke-free， pet-free home. This 2004 Disney/Lionel Mickey’s Christmas Express Train Set is from a Limited Edition of 1000; though there are other Disney Christmas Train Sets on eBay， none of them are 2004 Limited Edition sets like this one! There are few of these left out there and even fewer that are brand new， like this one， in unopened condition and with the original box and packing materials. ABOUT COMBINED SHIPPING I've received a few requests to combine shipping when people have purchased multiple items from me， however I'm unable to do so for the following reasons: 1) In order to list items with calculated shipping (as is the case with this item) I had to package each item for shipping and then measure and weigh the package. So this piece is already boxed for shipping by itself. 2) Most of the Disney collectibles I'm selling from my collection are fragile and placing more than one of them in a package will put them at risk for breakage during shipping. So please understand that I can't offer combined shipping because of the above reasons. Please review the description and photographs carefully and ask any questions before purchasing， as I do not accept returns.
