Extremely sweet vintage 1950's "Teddy Bears in Party Hats with Balloons" Hand Quilted， Embroidered， & Appliqued Baby Quilt with Pink Scalloped Edging.Size 39” x 53" (includes scalloped edging). This is a lightweight quilt with no batting. Condition is clean crisp Pre-owned Vintage.The quilt is in good overall condition with just very minor wear on the scallop edging. One very small yellow stain in the upper right quadrant front on the blue bear's party hat. Also one small yellow stain on the back of the quilt on the upper left corner.The name "june" is stitched in light pink thread below the feet of the yellow bear in the center of the quilt.The date of the quilt is stitched in the bottom right corner--1952.This is from a kit (I think) and in certain areas you can still see the blue ink from the original working panel where the pink hand stitching is a smidge off. This is very minor but an expert quilter would notice.Please see photos for more detail.
