曲線を基調とし、スポーツ・ストリートウェアから着想を得て構成された独自のパターンカッティング。 そのカットから生まれるシェイプは ドルマンスリーブともセットインスリーブとも異なる独特のボリュームを持ち 通常のTシャツとは異なるユニークなシルエットとなっている。ボディの素材には空紡天竺*を使用することで、ストリート的雰囲気を持ったオーバーサイズのＴシャツに仕上がっている。ブランドネームには特殊な織り機を用いて 織り上げられた段階で土台のネームの上にループ状に複数のネームが繋がっている ユニークなデザインを採用。*空紡天竺アメリカにて1950年に設備された空気紡績機と同じ製法で再現した糸は乾いたようなコットンの素材感を特徴。表面の撚りが強く、中の撚りが甘く柔らかいという特徴により、さらっとした肌触りとふっくらとした着心地と共にリアルビンテージを生み出しました。ドライでざっくりとしたストリート的な雰囲気を持ちながらも、長年の着用にも耐え得る伸縮性と耐久性を高めた特別な素材です。

A-GIRLS は 80 年以上も続く和歌山の老舗ファクトリーを背景に、 国内外多くのメゾンブランドから絶大な信頼を寄せているテキスタイルメーカー。ファッショントレンドを決める世界最高峰のテキスタイル見本市“Premiere Vision”にて 2016 年には最もファッションに影響力のある 6 人のデザイナーとして日本人として初選出 2017 には世界一のテキスタイルの栄冠、PV アワード大賞を受賞する。世界の TOP メゾンブランドから愛され続ける魅力は、EMOTIONAL な素材を作り続けているからだと思います。裏付けされる技術的な高さや歴史も大事ですが、本当に良い素材はその服と着る人を魅力あるものに引き上げてくれると信じています。
ABOUT UENO TAKAHIRO (Designer)
ウィーン応用芸術大学に入学。ヴェロニク・ブランキーノ、ベルンハルト・ウィルヘルムの元でファッションデザインを学ぶ。４年生時のコレクションでスワロフスキー・アワードを受賞するとともにDIESELが主催する世界的なファッションコンテスト‘’INTERNATIONAL TALENT SUPPORT 2013‘’にてコンペティションの歴史上初めてファッション部門とジュエリー部門の２部門同時にファイナリストとして選出される。卒業後コムデギャルソンに入社。ジュンヤワタナベコムデギャルソンのパタンナーとして、コレクションピースのデザインに携わる。同社退社後、エイガールズに入社しATMOS+TAKAHIROUENOのデザイナーに就任する。
