Records may not function as intended per surface noise， defective playback due to manufacturing defect or scratches， etc. and covers often have damage such as flawed edges and odors which may require repair or treatment， so I’m selling the item as being in “For parts or not working” condition.Note: Most records are in scratched condition (according to Goldmine， only 2-4% of records from the 50s/60s are NM).A list of the item's flaws also includes: odor (from mildew， tobacco smoke， etc.)， cover with slight corner bump(s)， damaged wrinkly shrink wrap torn back upper left， slight creasing to corners and staples to press bio， publicity note to photo attached w/ scotch tape to rear of photo， record with beautiful labels， playing surface looks nice in low light but outside shows scuffing and maybe thin scratches (could be from staples and other sharp materials jammed into cover with record?)， likely uncleaned / dirty record -- professional cleaning recommended， etc.

Secondhand Record Album For Sale Item: Here's something I've never seen before... Original white label promo album by Allen Toussaint - Life， Love And Faith (with The Meters) with what I'd call a Press Kit (Insert under back shrink， 3 Page Bio， glossy b&w Photo， publicity note attachment) and original inner sleeve， etc. Still in shrink wrap! This will be a killer piece for any funk or New Orleans collector -- imagine making this into a huge display with the cover， record， slipped on back insert， glossy photo， publicity note， 3 page bio， etc. That's like EIGHT things for a big size wall display! The record itself isn't worth a ton (although it is rare!)， so I'm valuing this more on the ephemera and the potential. Imagine if you could get his autograph and add that into the mix... It would be like a NOLA music museum piece! Single albums usually ship in Bags Unlimited brand cardboard record mailer. Multiple records usually ship in a box of my own construction. If you like the ‘shabby chic’ look of the item， you can buy a record album frame for it from Ikea for 7.99 and display it on your wall. It amazes me that the world of record collecting doesn’t have an official grading company such as in the comic book field (they have CGC)， the coin collecting realm (they have PCGS)， etc. Until an official 3rd party industry expert comes along， record grading remains subjective and opinions vary due to parties’ differences in audio equipment， etc. CUSTOMER SERVICE Most of the items I offer here on eBay are from estates in the Philadelphia / NYC area， and are fresh to the market.
